Liesl Tesch becomes our first Ambassador

WheelEasy is absolutely delighted to announce that Liesl Tesch AM has become our first Ambassador. She will be the first of several appointments that we plan over the next few months to help WheelEasy create a real impact.

Our Ambassadors will help to raise awareness of the work of WheelEasy, as well as champion various mobility related causes that they believe passionately in.

Liesl is an incomplete paraplegic, following a mountain bike accident at the age of 19. She is a seven times Australian Paralympic medallist, having competed in both basketball and sailing. At the 2016 Rio games she won two gold medals for sailing. The photo here was taken with the two principal people behind WheelEasy; Max Burt and Justine O’Brien.

Liesl said “I’m thrilled to be invited to become a part of the great team at WheelEasy. It’s such a fantastic initiative and I am confident it will be Australia’s ‘go-to’ site for wheelie access to everything! Let’s all join in and build a ‘quick-click’ location that will help us plan our days with ease, and also reward those who have made their locations and activities accessible for all. Thanks Max and Justine – this is fabulous!”
